Oil and gas condensate production amounted to 70.6 mln tons in Kazakhstan in 2008: Energy Ministry

Extraction of oil and gas condensate amounted to 70.6 mln tons in Kazakhstan in 2008, increasing by 5 percent against 2007
Kazakh Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sauat Mynbayev has made it public at the Ministry’s Collegium, Kazinform reports.

“12.3 mln tons of oil were supplied to the domestic market and processed. 6.7 mln tons out of them were imported to Russia”, S.Mynbayev said. The Minister paid attention to the Pavlodar oil refinery, which operates using mainly Russian oil.

The Minister noted that production of the domestic aviation kerosene increased.
