Mangystau Oil, Gas and Infrastructure Exhibition is held in the oil and gas-bearing region of Kazakhstan – the city of Aktau, the only seaport of Kazakhstan designed for international shipping of bulk cargoes, oil and oil products, and is one of the key links in the TRACECA chain, East – Central Asia – Caucasus – Europe transport corridor. The oil producing industry accounts for 93.9% of the oblast’s industrial output with a lot of local and foreign companies involved in project implementation. All these factors contribute to success of Aktau-hosted annual Mangystau Oil, Gas and Infrastructure Exhibition.
Around 100 oil producing, service, mechanical engineering and freight companies and equipment suppliers participate in Mangystau Oil, Gas and Infrastructure Exhibition. Regional infrastructure is represented by construction, power and telecommunication companies.
It is for the first time ever that OilTech Mangystau Conference will be held alongside the 5th Regional Mangystau Oil, Gas and Infrastructure 2009 Exhibition. With the view of further development of Mangystau Region’s oil and gas sector, the conference participants will discuss the problems of development of the offshore oil and gas fields in the Caspian Sea, oil and gas transportation, and new technologies for offshore oil field development. Representatives of the leading oil and gas companies and business associations will take part in the discussions. The dynamic development of oil and gas industry of Kazakhstan, ever-increasing interest of the investors in Western Kazakhstan Oblast, and wide-range development and utilisation of innovative technologies offer new co-operation horizons for local and foreign oil and gas companies.
